Troy was feeling the Monday blues as he shuffled along the path towards his school.  How he wished it had been a Sunday when he could relax and have fun.  He was the only one who felt blue, his classmates were all looking forward to the PE lesson.
"You will not have PE lessons today.  The Creative Writing Test has been brought forward to the first period, otherwise you may not start your recess on time," announced Miss Lim, their form teacher.
"Why is there a writing test out of the blue?" exclaimed Troy.  He had not prepared for the test and felt like a cat on hot bricks.  In fact, Miss Lim had informed the class about the test thrice but Troy had always been building castles in the air and was unaware of what was happening around him.   He hung his head in shame, knowing that he was the black sheep of the class, the only one who gave his teacher troubles.
The next day, Miss Lim returned the pupils' writing to them. Surprisingly, Troy managed to pass the test, so he heaved a sigh of relief.  However, when he realised that his classmates had passed the test with flying colours, he became green with envy.  He wished he had studied for the test.  "Never mind, every cloud has a silver lining.  You have not performed well for this test but let it be a lesson from which you could learn," Miss Lim advised Troy.  Troy decided to turn over a new leaf and paid more attention to his teacher's instructions.
